Spring 2015 was introduced by a wonderful Arctic eclipse of the Sun. The path of totality started northeast of Newfoundland – Canada, then curved around Greenland and Iceland without touching either of them. A partial eclipse of 60% coverage was visible from Reggio Emilia – northern Italy. The image shows the Sun’s path from 9:00 am till noon (local time) with 5 minutes interval. Although some clouds interfered in the middle, the event was really fascinating!
